The objectives of the Tabung Penyelenggaraan Masjid for Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah IIUM Kuantan are outlined as follows:
- The primary objective is to raise sufficient funds for the maintenance and renovation of the mosque's facilities, ensuring its sustainable growth and development.
- To enhance the mosque's facilities to better serve the needs of IIUM congregants and the wider community. This includes ensuring adequate and appropriate of facilities required in the mosque for daily prayers and programmes.
- The purpose of this fund is to support the mosque's physical development, maintenance and repair throughout the year.
- To provide a platform for opportunities in fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility among the IIUM community towards continuously upkeeping the physical development of the mosque as part as a charitable endeavor
PROJECT DETAILS
- Women prayer area at main prayer hall and level 1 = RM 50,000.00
- Mosque Public Address (PA) System = RM 500,000.00
- Mosque repainting (internal) = RM 200,000.00
- Replacing prayer hall carpet = RM 300,000.00
GRAND TOTAL FUND NEDDED = RM 1,050,000.00
*The excess collection will be maintained in Masjid Trust Fund, with any further utilization subject to approval from the relevant authority.
