• The purpose of the IIUM Alumni Scholarship and Financial Assistance (ALSAFA) Fund is to provide financial support for outstanding underprivileged students at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The fund, generously contributed to by IIUM alumni and the public, aims to assist financially needy students, regardless of their nationality or the Kulliyyah they are enrolled in.

• The ALSAFA Fund is open to both Malaysian and non-Malaysian students from all Kulliyyahs at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The fund aims to provide equal educational opportunities for outstanding underprivileged youths, regardless of their nationality or the specific Kulliyyah they are enrolled in.

The ALSAFA Fund provides two main categories of assistance:

1. Full scholarships that cover outstanding tuition fees for underprivileged students OR
2. Financial assistance, which provides a one-time allowance to students in need.
